This 412-year old yokai is biologically 24. Born in 1600, 3 years before the rule of the Tokugawa Shogunate, she was married into the family of a wealthy samurai, which was odd at the time since she came from a lower class. Her beauty and charm are what captivated the samurai and caused him to go against the societal norm.

One night, only a few days after their marriage, her husband saw a man leaving the house and assumed that his wife was having an affair. He entered the house and held her down, slitting her mouth wide open with his sharpened tanto. She perished later that night, unable to tell her husband that the man leaving the house was her brother just asking for a little money. The gods saw her death as a great loss and she was reborn as a yokai.

As a yokai she roamed Japan aimlessly, preying on people in search of a hint of comfort for nearly 400 years until Abe Yuuta encountered her Christmas Eve, 2010.
